John Blossom is one of the most widely recognized content industry analysts,
providing thought leadership to executives in search of new approaches to
rapidly changing enterprise and media markets for publishing and technology
products and services. He founded Shore Communications Inc. in 1997, is the
author of the book "Content Nation: Surviving and Thriving as Social Media
Changes Our Work, Our Lives and Our Future," and speaks frequently at
industry and corporate events in the U.S., Europe and Asia. For his
excellence in qualitative research, Mr. Blossom was recognized with the
Vendor of the Year award by Standard & Poor's in 2001. Shore Communications
was recognized as one of the 100 Content Industry Companies that Matter Most
by EContent Magazine in 2004 and 2005 and Mr. Blossom's ContentBlogger
weblog won the Software and Information Industry Association 2007 CODiE

Smart Content marketing director Laurel Earhart has over 15 years experience in information technology and business development. Her early professional experience includes Russian translation, database management and managing early Internet applications at the University of Arizona, Georgetown University, and the Center for Strategic and International Studies. She later applied her technical knowledge to sales at Comtex, a real-time newswire aggregation service. Her favorite client hired her, and she went on to serve as Director of Business Development for the News and Politics content areas at America Online, where she secured some of the largest and most complex content providers on the service. Her most recent position at AOL was that of National Director of Sales Operations at AOL/Time Warner, where she facilitated brand sales strategies, consistent metrics and acted as technical liaison for the AOL family of brands. She was instrumental in securing many of the early Internet advertising relationships with worldwide advertising agencies. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Business Development for SentiMetrix, a sentiment analysis technology start-up in Washington, DC.
Ms. Earhart holds a BA in Russian from the University of Arizona, with a minor in marketing from the Eller School of Business.

AviationNow.com.
Michael is known for being the first journalist to interview the flight attendants who stopped shoe bomber Richard Reid
from blowing up an American Airlines 767 over the Atlantic Ocean. He served on the teams that won a McGraw-Hill Corporate
Achievement Award for development of the Aviation Week Intelligence Network in 2002 and American Business Media's Neal

Mark Stefik is a Research Fellow at the Palo Alto Research Center (PARC). He leads the Kiffets social indexing project at PARC
(www.kiffets.com) which combines the experience of curators with AI technology to organize news and other information. From 2001-2005, he led
PARC's Information Sciences and Technologies laboratory in developing sensemaking technology for intelligence analysts. His research areas include sensemaking, digital
rights management, expert systems, and collaboration technology. Stefik is a Fellow in the American Association for Artificial Intelligence and in the American
Association for the Advancement of Science. Stefik's doctoral dissertation was in computer science from Stanford University.

government customers, including several within the Department of Defense.
Dr. Srihari is also on the faculty of the Dept. of Computer Science and
Engineering at the University at Buffalo. She has given numerous talks and
published extensively in the areas of text mining, social media mining, and
multilingual text analysis.

Anthony Vito has over 10 years of experience in software development and
constructing search solutions. Prior to joining TextWise he developed a
securities search product based on Apache's Lucene for a financial
software firm. Since joining TextWise he has assisted in building out
the TextWise SemanticHacker API for enterprise search solutions. Vito
received his degree in Computer Science from the State University of New
York at Oswego.
